Our company is proud to highlight that the Salah Al-Din 3 Refinery, part of the Baiji refinery complex under Iraq's Ministry of Oil and the North Refineries Company (NRC), has been successfully operating since its official inauguration on January 19, 2026.
BOILEN played a significant role in this project, providing essential engineering expertise and laying the process foundations that made the refinery’s success possible. In particular, our engineers Tomáš Kukrál and Josef Kuba, both with extensive experience in the oil & gas sector and long-standing ties to the Baiji refinery complex, were instrumental in guiding the design and implementation phases.
Their deep understanding of local operations and commitment to engineering excellence ensured the smooth start-up and reliable operation of Salah Al-Din 3. This milestone not only strengthens Iraq’s domestic refining capacity but also underscores the value of expertise, collaboration, and long-term relationships in delivering complex energy infrastructure projects.
