Our services
Process engineering and design
Design and optimization of chemical-technological processes, especially in refinery and petrochemical production.
Our process design department generally deals with the following areas:
-
01
Process design
New technology units in the field of chemistry, especially oil and gas. Conceptual design, off-line simulation, balance and yield diagram, media consumption, process flow diagrams.
-
02
Re-design of processes
Re-engineering of existing chemical process units. Process improvement, capacity enhancement, bottleneck identification and removal, process optimization, case studies from a process perspective.
-
03
Energy analysis
Heat utilization, optimal arrangement of hot and cold process streams (pinch point analysis).
-
04
Flare system
Design and calculation of the flare stack, determination of the heat radiation zone, process redesign of the existing flare system, acoustic and vibration analysis, emergency depressurization and design of pressure safety valves (PSV).
-
05
Calculation
Complete process design, hydraulic calculation, piping networks.
-
06
Services and support
Consultancy in designing processes according to requirements, process studies, process calculations.
As part of the engineering services offered for the design and re-design of process units, we are able to implement the following refinery plants:
- Atmospheric distillation unit and redistillation unit
- Vacuum distillation unit
- Asphalt blowing unit
- Asphalt filling unit
- Sour water stripping unit
- Residual gas treatment unit
- Flare system, flare unit
- Amine treatment unit (acid gas treatment)
- Pipelines such as oil pipelines, product pipelines, heat transfer pipelines
In addition, as part of our long-term cooperation with our partners, we are able to design the following technological units:
- Hydrotreating units for naphtha, kerosene and gas oil fractions
- Isomerisation units
- Semi-regenerative reforming units

Research and development
The main activity in process design/re-design is to create a process model of the new or existing/modified plant and, based on this model, design the optimal layout with emphasis on energy cost savings and maximum product yield.
Based on this fact, we are engaged in research in process modeling and quasi-stationary off-line simulation of unit operations in the refining and petrochemical industries to provide our potential customers with excellent design and redesign of real process units.
We are also working on developing our own software and managing it with the latest oil and gas technologies in mind.
“Think of your model as a real operating plant.”
